Anne Hathaway has taken calculate at actors who modify their faces with plastic surgery, insisting film stars need flaws to state emotion, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

The actress once felt so insecure about her looks, she reportedly considered having a nose job.
But the 25-year-old, now the face of beauty giant Lancome, is happy with her imperfections because they lend her face character.

�I wanted a nose job, but now, my nose is what lets me change my face a lot and I potty be glamorous as Agent 99 (in Get Smart), then look rough as a do drugs addict for (director) Jonathan Demme (in the coming movie Rachel Getting Married),� Hathaway aforesaid.

�Your face needs to have theatrical role if you�re an doer, otherwise you�re just a face,� she added.
